One of the more underrated prospects in the 2026 class is Capital LB Camdyn Harris Camdyn Harris 5'10" | 200 lbs | LB Capital | 2026 State WV . He’s had a great senior season for the Cougars and has developed well in their program since being primarily a running back early in his career. Harris has excelled at middle linebacker since then and had a strong performance against a very good Nitro offense in the first round. He has the athleticism and physicality to play at the D2 level and should earn some opportunities from that level soon.

, but Harris is also a standout linebacker on defense. Size may limit his ceiling as a LB prospect, but his running back background can also be utilized at the next level. Harris is a downhill physical linebacker with the athleticism to make plays in space and fly to the football.

Toting the rock again this season for the Cougars will be 2026 RB Camdyn Harris Camdyn Harris 5'10" | 200 lbs | LB Capital | 2026 State WV who can also play linebacker. Harris was a Special Honorable Mention All-MSAC player as a sophomore and has momentum heading into his junior year. Even at 5’9 175, Harris plays bigger than his listed size and is a well-rounded RB prospect who has shown early versatility for the position. He has the speed and quickness to break it outside but has the toughness and physicality to run between the tackles effectively too. Harris was also a threat in the passing game on screens and can be a reliable pass-catcher as well. He also has make-you-miss ability in the open field and is an agile athlete.
Look for Harris to have another strong season as a junior and begin to get some college looks over the next year before his senior year.

One of many Capital sophomores in our 2026 rankings is RB/LB Camdyn Harris Camdyn Harris 5'10" | 200 lbs | LB Capital | 2026 State WV who was a two-way starter this season for the rebuilding Cougars. I liked the 5’9 175 running back’s sophomore tape where he showed some versatility at the position. The one early aspect part of his game that stood out was his ability to be a pass catcher out of the backfield. Capital liked to call a lot of screens last season and they got Harris involved in them. He can also flare out into the flats or run some wheel routes to further be involved in the passing game. Harris is a balanced runner who stays low and has fluid hips to change direction. He’s a quality between-the-tackles runner who is still developing the quickness and speed to be able to get outside the tackles and turn the corner. Harris also can make defenders miss and showed some twitch on film which will further improve with increased quickness. I think for his size he’s also a quality power runner who runs hard and can brush off arm tackles. I like the future outlook for Harris and am excited to watch him develop over the next two years.
