- The best blocker on this list
- Decent catch radius
- Great possession target- good at short-intermediate routes
- Good deep route runner- a step less explosive than others on this list, though
- Good contested catch ability
- One of the most well-rounded receivers on this list, but doesn’t stand out as much at one specific thing

I’ll keep this one short- Braylen had an OK day.
Overall, I like his route-running and physicality, though the De La Salle DBs were way better than most regarding shedding blocks. Braylon had a couple of opportunities to make plays but wasn’t able to adjust his body quickly enough to give himself a chance. Throughout this season, I’d like to see Brayden keep working on his physicality.

For about a year now, I’ve considered Braylen a highly underrated prospect. Frankly, I expect him to thrive at CMU. Although he’s 6’1″, he plays much bigger than his size. I especially like how physical of a blocker Braylen is. On his highlight tape, you’ll see several instances of absolutely dominant blocking- which is extremely rare for any WR prospect. I also love his route-running ability and his vision once he hits the open field. He seems to have a knack for getting open and finding holes in the defense. Now, I would like to see improvements in speed and a better ability in deep routes and contested catching. At Central Michigan, Braylen projects as a great possession receiver who can also put a guy in the dirt during run plays.

I’ve mentioned Braylen a number of times, but he has emerged as an elite prospect for the next level. When I watched him last season you could see his talent shine in a variety of ways. He’s a good all around route runner, from short and quick hitters, to deep balls over top of the defense. It’s fun to see him get in space in the screen and dump off game, because the moment he gets the ball in his hands he is trying to take it to the house. Davison lost some production from last seasons, but returns a lot of key pieces and I think that will bode well for Braylen getting a ton of touches, which is only a positive thing for his squad!

I took a good look at the stacked WR group in the rankings, and this position got shaken up a bit. Braylen is an extremely well-rounded and versatile receiver. Want him to run a deep post? He’ll track it down. Want him to block? He’ll lay someone out. Want him to get some YAC? He’ll make it happen. I’m happy to see him get some High D2 – MAC attention, and I firmly believe Braylon should be a Division 1 prospect.

This guy is a menace in the open field. He’s an absolute burner who can change direction on a dime and can blow by defenders. When I watched him this season, he really stressed the defense as he was a threat to go deep and make the big splash play constantly. He’s an elite pass catcher with a natural sense in zone coverage to find the open space and sit rather than continue running back into the DBs. He is really starting to take off around the MAC and I think his ceiling could be even higher with the right fit.

Braylen really started the game off hot with a deep ball, and you could tell it rattled the Rockford defense. The rest of the night he was a constant deep threat, and Rockford had to respect that the rest of the game. Naves runs great routes, changes directions quickly and was able to catch in traffic with some tremendous focus. He’s definitely a future D1 WR, and he is starting to get that traction especially in the MAC. I expect him to be a huge piece next week against the Belleville secondary.
