Hendrix has been a household name for me since the beginning of summer. He is silky smooth and to me is the prototypical ATHLETE when it comes to a recruiting prospect. Stephon looks to build on an impressive freshmen season as he takes his talents to Davison HS.
-Great overall IQ: You can tell from his film and seeing him in person that he has very disciplined eyes and plays through them very well, great play recognition, able to bait QB into throwing to a covered receiver. Good ball carrier vision on offense, able to find holes in the defense.
-Great athleticism: Good long strides that translates to his speed, good vertical leap to high point balls in the air, no issue whatsoever with sinking his hips offensively to get in and out of breaks or defensively to make tackles.
-Playmaking ability: Able to change the game on any snap-multiple pick sixes of over 40 yards, numerous big hits on defense and big blocks on offense, multiple long range reception offensively-on the ground and through the air.

Stephon is a two way athlete that’s brings a lot of intrigue based on his film. Stephon does a nice job make decisive moves with the ball in his hands after the catch and seems to do well making tough catches in traffic. Stephon also looks very good as a defensive back with fluid hips and sticky coverage on the wide outs. I am looking forward to seeing Stephon in person next week run through drills at each position.
