Expert Analysis

This was my first time really getting to see what Luke can do, and I have definitely been missing out. He first caught my eye during testing, specifically his performance in the L-Drill. He showed great change of direction and the ability to accelerate and decelerate on a dime. Once we moved to the competition events, he displayed clean route running and solid hands. Really great day for the young 2028 out of Davison.

A JV recevier who was clearly a step ahead of the JV competition he faced last season.
Luke is already decently polished in a few key areas. 1:22 alone showcases a good release, double-move, and solid ball tracking deep downfield. 0:43 is another good release, and good footwork on the comeback route. Mainly, I’m impressed with Luke’s athletic ability. He’s a fluid athlete and is able to change direction on a dime. A little less wasted movement on his routes, and Luke could be a phenomenal route runner/possession receiver on Varsity. Upgrade the hands and open-field skills, he could be a super well-rounded Varsity player.
