Knight has been patiently waiting his turn to start for the Spartans and has gotten his chance in his final season at the prep level. He looks to have full command of the offense through the first two weeks of the season, and does a very nice job both on the ground and through the air when asked to spin it downfield. He is a tough and high IQ runner that displays excellent vision, forward lean and can gain tough yards inside while operating the veer system flawlessly. Against one of the top teams in the state in the Serra Padres, he had another stellar showing going for multiple rushing touchdowns and showing he can deal the ball around into tight windows to keep boxes light and does a outstanding job managing the game.
