He has the ideal length and frame for the safety position in college and has natural ball skills, closing speed and tremendous range at the third level. He is a highly instinctual prospect that recognizes plays quickly and excels in man and zone coverage downfield. He is technically sound and is a quick processor that is not afraid to come downhill and bang in the box when needed. Young is coming off a solid second season campaign for the Spartans, and is one of the top young defensive back prospects across the region heading into the 2025 season. He has elite length and size for the position and will only continue to grow and develop over the next two seasons and his college career.
