Expert Analysis
Paul Gregorian | Prep Redzone Scout
Peterson is one of the top young linebackers that we have in northern California and has seen some significant playing time for one of the top teams in the country in the Spartans. He is a very high IQ player that is always around the ball, tackles well in space with proper angles and closing speed and packs a punch at contact while showing he can navigate through traffic and into the backfield consistently with good leverage, use of hands and is a natural bender around the corner when rushing the passer. Still only in his second prep season, Peterson should become more of a household name amongst the linebacker ranks here in northern California next Fall and he is without a doubt one of the better 2029 breakout guys we have seen this year.
