Wisconsin is developing what seems like more and more impressive skill position players. One of those is Bradford’s Brandon Walton Brandon Walton 6'2" | 165 lbs | ATH Kenosha Bradford | 2026 State WI . The junior shines at WR and DB and legitimately could get offers at either position. He has excellent length for the position, yet despite the length Brandon still shows excellent body control, short area, agility and the ability to contort his body in the air to get the ball. On offense he is such a sudden route runner that catches you off guard with how sudden and smooth he can run routes. His leaping ability is a huge bonus too as he is able to go up and take it off the top shelf. Even with all that athletic ability the junior isn’t afraid to get down and dirty and make tackles in space out at CB on top of it all. This is another special two way player that people need on their radars.

It is quick highlights, but Brandon has definitely taken that next step athletically. The junior ATH has elite length on his frame that has given him a big advantage as a receiver and as a CB. In coverage, Brandon has a great blend of awareness and also the quick twitch agility that allows him to quickly and effortlessly change directions in an instant. At WR he does a great job of positioning himself while the ball is in flight and after the catch or on things like jet sweeps shows the burst to get the edge and quickness/elusivness in tight quarters. Walton has hit that next stage in his development where he is looking like a true difference maker in space.

Arguably the most versatile athlete in the Class of 2026 without an offer is Kenosha Bradford’s DB/WR Brandon Walton Brandon Walton 6'2" | 165 lbs | ATH Kenosha Bradford | 2026 State WI . The 6’2″ athlete is starting to fill out that long, lanky frame and is now sitting at 165 lbs as we enter the 2024 season. Brandon is a talented athlete on the track as well. As a freshman he posted one of the Top 5 fastest 200M times in school history. A school that has put out some elite athletes over the years.
On the field, the effort and range jump off the tape as a sophomore. Brandon is a kid that will chase down an RB across the field one play. The next we play he will be playing a deep half and doing a great job of finding WRs entering his zone and easily turning and running with them stride for stride. The ’26 has excellent awareness while playing safety. We see several examples of him picking up receivers and making great plays on the ball. Brandon doesn’t shy away from the physical side of the position either. He will line up in the box and be a reliable asset against the run game. He is a good tackler and very slippery to land a block on.
On offense, Walton is a big play threat on every snap. That long speed gets him behind the defense over and over. His soft hands make easy catches, and he is able to adjust on the fly to where the ball is at in flight. This is one of the top athletes to know in this Class.

Another stud WR/DB combo athlete is Kenosha Bradford’s Brandon Walton Brandon Walton 6'2" | 165 lbs | ATH Kenosha Bradford | 2026 State WI . Brandon brings excellent length to the position at 6’2″. As a DB, we see Brandon at CB and safety. Safety looks like home for him. There he can show off his excellent range and change of direction. He has excellent awareness in zone coverage and has shown the recovery speed as well. The first INT highlight in his tape shows off all that. To go along with the next level coverage skills, Walton can be trusted to play down in the box or off the edge to help defend the run game. Even at 155 lbs the sophomore doesn’t hesitate to stick his nose in the trash and get a tackle.
At WR Kenosha loves to highlight his speed to create big plays. Jet sweeps, deep corners, and verticals up the seam scatter throughout his film showing an athlete who is usually one of the fastest athletes on the field. Brandon is a tough mismatch out wide.

Brandon is another Kenosha Bradford WR/ATH who is quickly coming into his own, and on the way is dominating defensive backfields. Brandon has excellent track speed that translates to the field. Bradford loves to use Walton deep downfield, or getting him the ball quickly so he can use that speed to do damage. I liked the examples of him playing against zone, feeling when to break into open space, and then making the secure catch. Brandon is also a standout at DB on defense. Give his tape a look. I have a feeling we see a big breakout from him this fall.

An exciting two way athlete who shines at WR and DB is sophomore Brandon Walton Brandon Walton 6'2" | 165 lbs | ATH Kenosha Bradford | 2026 State WI from Kenosha Bradford. The long athlete jumps off the tape when you watch the highlights. The long athlete has excellent top end speed. Speed that he uses to pull away in the open field and beat pursuit angles on offense or chase down plays across the field or run with receivers in coverage. Despite the larger frame, Brandon is elusive with the ball in his hands. He is quickly developing the vision to set up blocks and find lanes with the ball in his hands. The awareness in zone coverage is also impressive. Walton sees receivers entering and leaving his zone. There are highlights showing him quickly drop and pick up new receivers and just as quickly flip his hips to turn and run with them. At this point, I could see Brandon playing either side of the ball at the next level. Check out the strong tape.
