Heading to Wisconsin, we have DB Xavian Pope. The Racine-Case prospect, showcased an elite frame this past weekend. He was a solid performer who can easily make an impact as a DB. I like his footwork, and his ability to track the ball regardless of his position is elite. Off the line he has a strong hand, which can knock players out of position. Overall an elite threat who can easily compete for the top spot in Wisconsin.

One of the best defensive backs / wide receivers in all of the 2030 class in the state of Wisconsin. Xavian Pope is one of those players and that’s one major reason he is headed to New Jersey for the “RIZE” event to compete against other talented players from around the Country. Pope has a great deal of athleticism and game IQ. He is a complete baller, and you are about to once again see why!

Pope was one of the three at this event that ran a sub 5 second 40 yard dash at 4.97. On the hoof, he has a great frame at 5110 160, with lots of length and very lean. He also put down a 4.44 pro shuttle, 6.79 cone, 9’1 broad jump. The growth potential here is huge, he should be a good sized secondary prospect in a few years. In agilities, he showed lots of wiggle and lateral juice. He took reps at receiver to show his versatility. Pope is a DB though. In coverage, he was a blanket. Physical at the line of scrimmage in press, used his length at the catch point, attached himself to the hip pocket, very natural in coverage against the best receivers there. He dominated one on ones. On top of that, Pope was highly coachable.
