We saw Arquon contributing for Case’s secondary in 2025, but this year we will see Moss suiting up for Racine Park. Our DB1 earned his spot with a display of range and force. The freshman safety is a very solid last line of defense. He is fearless attacking downhill on the ball and is reliable in his open field tackling. Arquon doesn’t hesitate to close quickly against the run or short passing game. The ’29 also played in the slot often and showed that he can run with quick WRs and be in position to make plays on the football. Big things ahead for Moss as he continues to grow and pile up the varsity experience.
Freshman DB Arquon Moss had himself a great day at his first ever camp, earning himself a spot in the final Best vs Best battles. The freshman came out and proved that he is going to be a kid that coaches will want to know very early on in the recruiting process. The 5’10” 150 lbs athlete crushed the combine, already putting up a 4.84 40, 4.34 shuttle, and 6.85 L-Drill. The 1 on 1 battles were where the athletic freshman left no doubt that he is going to be a legitimate player in this state. Aggressive and strong at the line with his jam. He can effortlessly transition from backpedal to turning and running downfield or come downhill on the ball, or accelerate through a route break in the quick passing game to get his hands in position to break up the pass. Arquon has a strong bag of tools that he is crafting, both physical and mental. Big things ahead for this kid.
The freshman DB out of Racine Case has several impressive clips of his play as a slot CB. Arquon is showing that ability to play man coverage thanks to quick feet and hips that allow him to mirror those quick hitting routes from WRs. Moss also did well playing the ball in the air and wasn’t hesitant to come up and make a tackle. You have to love the high motor, effort plays that the freshman made on chase down tackles. Arquon has a solid base of tools, and Racine Case is a great place for a DB to develop their skills.
