Not to get ahead of myself but when I watch Newkirk’s tape (see below) I have flashes of Michael Penix 2.0 I really do. Our second ranked quarterback out of Maury Au’tori Newkirk Au’tori Newkirk Au’tori Newkirk QB Maury | 2025 State VA is darn good one. A dual threat qb who has a cannon, some of the throws he makes on the run make me think he is division 1 quarterback. He seems to be in complete control too even when he is being chased down by defensive linemen, he still is able to make smart split decisions. His recruitment really took off in January with Hampton being the first division 1 school to offer, since then Temple, UMASS, Toledo and Delaware State have followed.  All of those offers came within a span of two months, imagine what how much that will expand before next fall!
