The number 1 ranked quarterback for Virginia 2025 class is Green Run superstar Ksaan Farrar Ksaan Farrar 6’3″ | 185 lbs | QB Green Run | 2025 State VA . Still uncommitted Farrar is one of the most sought out quarterbacks in the country with offers ranging from Uconn, Charlotte and Liberty. He is expected to make his decision on his birthday May 12th, trust me many schools (and their fanbases) will be tuning in very closely to his decision. Our 43rd overall prospect Farrar threw for a mind blowing 36 touchdowns as a junior at Green Run, since taking over as the starter he has electrified the Stallions faithful. Very accurate on his deep ball, the young man is poised to have an even bigger season in 2024, whatever school he chooses in a couple weeks, they should know he can come in and play day 1.

Not to get ahead of myself but when I watch Newkirk’s tape (see below) I have flashes of Michael Penix 2.0 I really do. Our second ranked quarterback out of Maury Au’tori Newkirk Au’tori Newkirk QB Maury | 2025 State VA is darn good one. A dual threat qb who has a cannon, some of the throws he makes on the run make me think he is division 1 quarterback. He seems to be in complete control too even when he is being chased down by defensive linemen, he still is able to make smart split decisions. His recruitment really took off in January with Hampton being the first division 1 school to offer, since then Temple, UMASS, Toledo and Delaware State have followed. All of those offers came within a span of two months, imagine what how much that will expand before next fall!

Recently announcing his plans to play football at the next level for the University of Richmond, Collegiate multi-year starter Jack Callaghan Jack Callaghan 6’3″ | 200 lbs | QB Collegiate | 2025 State VA checks in at number 3 for his position and 60th overall. Throwing for 19 touchdowns last fall, Callaghan could double that total in 2024. Very shift and alert in the pocket he is surpsingly explosive at times when he gets out into the open field. Not surprised to see him commit to the Spiders with his local connection it makes sense, I wonder if more FBS schools do not still come calling for his services though.

Highlights
Potomac’s dual threat star Camren Boykin Camren Boykin 6’3″ | 190 lbs | QB The Potomac School | 2025 State VA comes in 4th in his position and 69th overall is worth the price of admission. Another dual threat star who can make nearly every throw, Boykin most recently picked up an offer from the prestigious Cornell University. Thus far now power 5 schools have pulled the trigger on Boykin but like many of our highly ranked prospects, with the new recruitment cycle those are coming.
Camren Boykin Camren Boykin 6’3″ | 190 lbs | QB The Potomac School | 2025 State VA stock is rising by the minute and he will not stop until he gets the respect he deserves. One of the best quarterbacks in Virginia Boykin is sure to be at least an FCS level player in 2025. For my money he is an FBS talent with schools such as Maryland, James Madison and Duke showing interest, he is sure to get major offers soon. Playing for the Potomac School this young man has the size, speed and arm strength to lead the Panthers against a tough independent schedule.
Recently picking up his second division 1 offer from the Howard Bisons Wilson’s recruiting is finally picking up steam. The two time all state selection has been one of the best quarterbacks in all of Virginia for the last two seasons and he deserves all the kudos. Playing for Saint Michael’s the Archangel, I have been high on this young man for quite some time here is what I wrote back in February:
I was hoping this young man would progress for his junior season and he didn’t disappoint, Saint Michael’s Nahshon Wilson is a FBS level quarterback. Wilson had a great junior year, one that has attracted the interest of major schools such as Liberty, James Madison and the University of Pittsburgh. The two time all state selector is a master of his craft at quarterback, he can throw the deep ball on the run and make plays with his feet. A true dual threat passer Wilson will surely have several FBS offers soon, expect to see him on your television set come Saturday afternoons.rn
