About Ashton

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A strong arm with great accuracy. Quick on the feet and able to extend plays. Great IQ with great reads.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is next play not the one before. No matter what you can’t get that play back so move on. I have so much passion for the game and I will continue to do so.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in the TAG(talented and gifted) program. I was in the Battle of the Books and have been on honor roll multiple times.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve continued to be able to build my anger into power for the game. I have become a very intense leader for the love of the game. As a teammate I am serious when needed but will be the best you can get.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve faced many challenges which includes playing up. I’ve played up multiple times which truly forces me to have a sharp mindset and continue to push as hard as possible.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that will help me grow and who I can help the team. A college with a great program and intense coaching. Any college is truly a blessing.

Jones has a very good release paired with good throw power. Fluid throwing motion. Jones has a good touch on his throws making it easier for the receiver. Good ball placement skills. Does a good job on his deep throws with a high arch. Good pocket presence. Uses his quick feet to maneuver around and will use his scramble ability to get a first down. I’m intrigued to see how he does this upcoming season for Vista Ridge.
