Expert Analysis
Robert Davis | Prep Redzone Scout
Nocita showcased his playmaking ability on defense, but his offensive contributions at running back shows a physical, punishing style. He thrives between the tackles, attacking downhill and finishing runs with strength. Nocita gains tough yardage, lowers his shoulder through contact and consistently keeps the chains moving. He had 424 rushing yards on 54 carries with three touchdowns, showing efficiency and toughness in limited opportunities. As games progress, he appears to grow stronger, wearing down opposing defenses with each carry. His combination of power and persistence shows up in short yardage situations and momentum shifting plays, positioning him as a prospect capable of expanding his offensive role.

Nocita measures in at 5’10 175-pounds. He had 54 carries for 424 yards with 3 touchdowns, 45 total tackles (36 solo, 9 assisted), 1 TFL, 2 INT, 5 PD, and 2 FR. Nocita has good athletic ability due to very good speed, balance, good change of direction, and acceleration. Nocita has good vision paired with very good inside running. He follows his offensive lineman in short yardage situation. Good outside running. Does a good job regaining balance when he starts to stumble. As a DB, he has a smooth back pedal. Does a great job timing pass breakups with his very good closing quickness. I’m excited to see how Nocita continues to boost his stock this off-season.

Nocita turned in a strong all-around performance highlighted by elite agility testing, including a top-15 national pro shuttle time of 4.20. He carried that momentum into on field work, showing quick burst and the ability to separate as a receiving option during one on one. Nocita runs clean routes and displays natural hands, making him a reliable threat in the passing game. His acceleration allows him to create space quickly and pushing the defense vertically. The blend of speed, agility and versatility gives him an expanding role within an offense. As his profile continues to grow, Nocita is emerging as an up and coming back who is firmly on the radar moving forward.

Nocita was a standout at the camp. He was 1st at the camp in the pro shuttle, 14th nationally. 10th in broad jump, and 12th in the L-drill. The broad jump was a great example of his very good leg strength and explosion. He has very good change of direction, speed, and balance. Good acceleration. Nocita was fluid during the ladder drill, L-drill, and pro shuttle. I was impressed with how he competed, and is a name to know going forward.

Nocita showed his ability to impact the game in multiple ways with a strong performance in Week 0. He finished with 12 total tackles and a tackle for loss, flying downhill to support against the run while also showing instincts in coverage. Nocita’s ability to read keys and drive on the football allowed him to be disruptive and make plays all over the field. His range and aggressiveness give his defense an edge, and this performance should serve as a springboard for his season. With a chip on his shoulder, Nocita is positioning himself as a riser in the rankings moving forward.
