Smart is a player that has that dawg in him. When he gets the ball in his hands, he is a man on a mission trying to get to the end zone. He has the rare size and speed to create mismatch problems and he is nearly unguardable with the way he is able to go up and high point the ball. He has committed to Dartmouth and they will be getting a baller who can make an immediate impact when he reaches campus. Look for him to be a player who has instant success when he gets on the field at the next level.

was anything but ordinary this season, ranking fourth in the state with an astonishing 1,098 yards on 67 catches, paired with a dazzling 14 touchdowns. But it was his October 4th showdown against Grandview that showcased his brilliance. Smart didn’t just play; he outwitted and outpaced the defense with 11 receptions for 162 yards and three touchdowns. Every catch was a masterclass in precision, and every score was a reminder that Smart wasn’t just his name—it was his game.

Smart had a big ole game against Grandview. The 6’4 180-pound senior had 11 receptions for 162 yards and 3 touchdowns. This is his 2nd consecutive game with 10 + receptions and over 100 yards. Smart used his very good athletic ability to torch the DBs. He has very good speed, acceleration, good change of direction, and balance. Smart utilizes his good release at the LOS, then uses his very good athletic ability to create separation between the DB. Uses his good ball tracking skills to identify where the ball is. Smart then uses his lengthy arms to pluck the ball out of the air. After the catch, he uses his home run speed to blaze past everyone. Or he will use his physicality, plowing through defenders while using his good balance to stay up. He has good body control and good adjustment. He adjusted to a low ball thrown, keeping his hand underneath to secure it. Smart also went up for the contested catch, hauling it in for a touchdown. I was very impressed with what I saw from Smart, and I’m excited to see if he continues his 10 +, 100 + streak.

Smart is the epitome of a mismatch on the football field. At 6’4” with tremendous speed, Smart’s height and athleticism make him difficult for defenses to contain, as he demonstrated with eight receptions for 148 yards and two touchdowns in his latest game. If it is running deep routes or making plays in traffic, Smart’s ability to create separation and use his size to his advantage puts defensive backs in a bind. He’s a consistent deep threat, but his physicality also makes him tough to bring down after the catch, turning routine plays into significant gains. His two touchdowns highlighted his ability to be a reliable target in scoring situations, further cementing his role as a go-to receiver for Arapahoe’s offense.

. Smart is a big body receiver at 6’4 180 pounds, but he moves like a 5’10 elusive back. Last season, he accounted for 35 receptions for 585 yards and 11 touchdowns with an average 16.7 yards per catch. Smart has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, acceleration, jumping, and good change of direction. He showcased good mental processing skills, by identifying the zone void and attacking it. He would also look for his QB during the scramble drill, making himself an easy target. Smart has a very good release vs off and press jam. He uses his physicality and the 1,2-shake to create separation at the LOS. Good separation quickness. Very sharp cuts. He uses his athletic ability to outrun the DB creating more room. Very good ball tracking skills in his arsenal. Multiple 1-handed catches where he had to turn around to catch it. He’s a very good catcher, and uses his lengthy arms to pluck the ball out of the air. He has good body control and adjusts either above or below to get the ball. After the catch, he uses his physicality to run through people, and it takes multiple defenders to bring him down, due to size and speed. Smart excels with the comeback route a lot. He’s a great player, who I am very excited to see what he puts together in his senior year. Definitely deserves more eyes on him.

Smart is a player with the potential to emerge as a sleeper prospect. He is an explosive receiver with impressive speed that can put a secondary on its heels. His athleticism and electrifying catching abilities make him an ideal target, while his height and wingspan give him an advantage in jump ball situations. Smart is a radar low-flyer with excellent upside, making him a player worth investing in now.
