About Dennis
Expert Analysis
Andy Pham | Prep Redzone Scout
Dennis has had an exceptional offseason and on day two, he was a player who could not be covered. He used precise route running, clean footwork, and speed to get open on virtually every route. He navigated traffic well and in the end zone found the soft spot in the defense every time. He took defensive snaps where he showed his speed and range to close on receivers and did a good job covering space and keeping the opposing team from making big plays. He’s put on great size this offseason and he has been the number one rated prospect in the 2028 for two years for a reason.

Dennis has been splitting time at QB and WR this year, but what he’s shown is his elite lateral quickness. He’s had to escape from the pocket several times this year due to plays breaking down, and he’s been able to elude and evade rushers and displaying that short-area burst and vision. That translates over when he’s lined up out wide, as he’s always shown good footwork and route running chops, mixed in with a good hip sink, but now you add that dynamic lateral burst, it makes him deadly after the catch and at second moves. He’s looked excellent out wide this year when he’s getting those reps. He’ll be an elite recruit and a multi-year Power-Four starter as a Wide Receiver. Elite talent.

Dennis is an elite athlete and our #1 ranked prospect for the 2028 class. His home will be at receiver but he’s expected to take snaps at quarterback this year. We’ll have to see how that split goes, but Dennis is a premier receiver. Fantastic off the line, has great footwork and route running ability, he is twitchy and easily creates separation, he’ll high point the ball and is strong at the catch point. Dennis is exceptional with the ball in his hands and creating on his own. He’ll be a national recruit and will be a premier Power-Four starter and the ceiling to get to the NFL. Elite athlete.

Our prediction for Region 7 Offensive Player of the Year is Dennis. He takes over as the signal caller this year, and the ability to be a dual-threat signal caller will stress the defense with every play. He’ll have the ball in his hands with every snap and can dictate what the offense will do to keep the defenses on their heels. He throws a good, deep ball, processes quickly, and has all the tools in his skill set to help lead Timpview to a deep postseason push and the potential to help lead Timpview to win Region 7. Dennis is primed for a monster season and is one of the best athletes in the region.

Tua’one is our overall #1 prospect for the 2028 class. He is going to be the Quarterback for the season and has spent the majority of the offseason at the position. He has a background as a signal caller dating back to the youth program. He processes defenses quickly, has a quick delivery, and throws a nice deep ball. His velocity is good and he knows when to lay it in and when to take something off. Tua’one showed good ball placement all offseason during 7’s. He knows when to check down and when to take deep shots. He throws a great deep ball and a nice, tight spiral. It’s never a bad thing to have your best player touch the ball with every snap, and it’ll be exciting to see how Tua’one does as the signal caller, but make no mistake, he is an elite receiver, and where his future will be. Think Hines Ward, Antwaan Randel El.

During the 7’s event, Tua’one took some reps at receiver but spent the majority of the day at the quarterback position. He shows good arm talent, places the ball where it needs to be, and throws a good deep ball. Without a doubt, his future will be at wide receiver, where he got open for a big touchdown during the late afternoon portion. He has the traits of Hines Ward and Antwaan Randle El, where he’s such an athletically gifted player that you can line him up anywhere and he’ll adapt. However, his home will be at receiver, just like the players, as mentioned earlier, where he’s simply exceptional.

Tua’one is an exceptional athlete. He can play both sides of the ball and be a lockdown cornerback on defense, and his home will be as a receiver where he is an exceptional athlete with tremendous footwork, hip fluidity, and naturally creates separation and is strong at the catch point. He’ll be a multi-year Power-Four starter as a receiver. For the 2025 season, he will be the Quarterback and does have a history of being a signal caller while coming up in the ranks when he was younger. Tua’one showed great processing, stood tall in the pocket, and displayed good arm talent. He throws a nice deep ball, with a tight spiral and a catchable ball for his receivers. He throws with anticipation and leads his receivers open. It should be a fun season with him as the signal caller, where he can move around the pocket and be a dual-threat Quarterback. Tua’one is an exceptional athlete, and it should be a fun year for him.
