Lincoln is an excellent backer who has good cover skills. It’s nice to see him in this setting as he is known for his physical style of play and attacking. To see him in zone and in coverage gives a new wrinkle on what he can do in coverage. He doesn’t get lost in space and does an excellent job of meeting players that come into his zone and not allow easy passes. He is refining his craft and is a fun player to watch for the upcoming season.

Lincoln has good size and should get to 200lbs with his frame. He is an active backer who is a good athlete and can attack and get to the ball carrier and can drop back in coverage. He is light and quick on his feet, does well reading receivers and makes good decision in open space. He doesn’t get lost in space and is a backer that shows good athleticism and moves well laterally. He’s got good tackling technique and is a player that will be a key contributor next year.

Lincoln has done an excellent job filling in as Timpview replaces a lot of moving parts. He’s been an effective backer who does well with reading and reacting. He shows the ability to shed his blocks and does well pressing forward and getting to the ball carrier.
