Ma’atoe finished the season on a high note and he’s made the most of his offseason. He is an athletic EDGE rusher who has good hip bend to get around the bend and has the quickness and explosiveness needed to get to the signal caller. He carries his weight well and is someone who has a lot of tools and is someone who is primed to make the most of his final season and continue to garner D1 offers.
Ma’atoe has a great athletic frame. He missed a portion of the season but he’s shown why he’s got the potential to be a high level player. He is quick off the line, moves well laterally, and has active hands. He’s got plenty of traits to like and should garner interests in recruiting at the D1 level.
Moe transfers in and looks to be the leading sack getter for Timpview. He is an excellent pass rusher with good size, moves well laterally and has good quickness. The transfer up shouldn’t affect him at all, he’s a good talent. He’s a D1 prospect.
Moe transfers in from Timpanogos and he is primed to take over as the top edge rusher on the team. He showcases exceptional burst off the line, has a good bend at the hip, violent hands, and is a physical defender with good closing speed and pursuit. He is a dynamic player who should get to double-digit sacks this year.
Moe has a great tool set and has shown glimpes of being a top-tier EDGE rusher. He has an array of moves, is quick off the line, and moves well laterally. With the transfer up and facing better competition, he can continue to show he belongs and will be a player that gets recruited regionally and steadily climb up the ranks.
Moe transfers into Timpview and possesses a great frame and should get to 230 lbs, and will be an exciting EDGE prospect. He has a good, quick first step and burst, and has an array of moves, including a great spin move where he showcases his lateral quickness. Moe isn’t a finesse rusher; he is a physical rusher with active hands and strength to bull rush his lineman. He can swipe his man to the side and then showcase his pursuit and closing speed. Moe has tremendous upside and will be a Power-Four recruit and starter. He has the potential to become one of the better EDGE rushers in the state.
Moe is an athletic prospect with flexibility to bend at the LOS.Shows initial quickness to read and react. Strength at the POA to control and ability to shed blocks to find ball carriers in the run game. Burst to get upfield, hand usage to make quick contact and push the pocket as a power rusher to get to the QB. Moe has the size and athleticism to be a EDGE player in a 4-3 or 3-4 defensive type scheme at the next level.
