Expert Analysis
Andy Pham | Prep Redzone Scout
Watching Cole throughout the season, he’s flashed. He can make the deep throws and can process quickly. He also moves well within the pocket. When he’s on his game, he is precise and does a good job keeping the offense in tempo. Watching him against Wasatch, when he made a mistake, he turned the page and kept attacking. Earlier in the season, if that were to happen, he would have lost all confidence. He’s a signal caller who is growing and developing.

Engemann transfers in from Orem and it’ll be interesting if he ends up being the QB1, which would allow Dennis back to his natural position at wide receiver. I’ve had a chance to see him this offseason and he’s got a good arm on him and places the ball well, if he gets reps early against West, he’ll need to use his footwork to navigate the pocket and bide additional time. He’s an interesting player for the game.
