Deangelo Barber Deangelo Barber 6'1" | 220 lbs | LB Clay Chalkville | 2024 State AL has been a phenomenal piece of Clay Chalkville’s defense and this year is no different, Barber has been on a tear his first two games of the year. Barber is a talented linebacker that has become one of the top defensive players in not just the state, but his class as well. Barber is a threat against the run and pass in a variety of ways, he’s shown that he’s got tons of talent in pass rush, coverage, and stopping the run- you can really ask him to do anything as a coach and he’ll be able to at a very high level. Barber had a huge game last Friday against Hueytown that featured him totaling up 13 tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack. It shouldn’t be a shock to see Barber put up numbers like that, the Auburn commit, has a ton of talent and a bright future ahead!
