Offense

2026 QB [player_tooltip player_id='876719' first='AJ' last='Stowers'] looks to take over the Desert Pines offense after earning time as a freshman. Stowers is a developing passer with raw arm strength and feel for the position. 2024 UNLV RB-commit [player_tooltip player_id='811156' first='Greg' last='Burrell'] was the team's leading rusher last season with nearly 1000 yards and 10 TDs. PRZ NV's #3-RB is an all-around back with a great blend of size (6'2”/205), speed, and athleticism. The WR group lost one of three elite freshmen in [player_tooltip player_id='402173' first='Isaiah' last='Nickels'] (Bishop Gorman). Last season's leading receiver, [player_tooltip player_id='212379' first='Massiah' last='Mingo'], and fellow 2026 prospect, [player_tooltip player_id='284053' first='Treyshaun' last='Jackson'], each had massive off-seasons adding offers from Utah, Arizona, UNLV, and Colorado St. Both are explosive playmakers with high-level natural athleticism and skillset. 2025 C [player_tooltip player_id='820626' first='Gabriel' last='Gough'] anchors the OL unit with valuable experience as a three-year starter. He brings a physical presence in the run game and can protect the interior of the pocket. Also bringing size and physicality to the front-seven is 2025 OG [player_tooltip player_id='820639' first='Emiliano' last='Yepez'] (6'2”/300).

Defense

The defense lost a pair of starting LBs this offseason with the offseason transfers of [player_tooltip player_id='817739' first='Keeyon' last='Kesi-Hadley'] (Farrington, HI) and its second-leading tackler from 2023, [player_tooltip player_id='820594' first='Landon' last='McComber'] (Bishop Gorman). Returning to the DL unit is top-10 2024 DL [player_tooltip player_id='817710' first='Tyler' last='Stewart']. Stewart's an effective 3-technique with the strength to shed blocks over OGs and the short-range burst to keep plays in front of him. 2026 LB [player_tooltip player_id='876716' first='Kenneth' last='Goodwin III'] has been an offseason stock-riser adding offers from Georgia, SMU, Boston College, and Portland St. His raw athleticism and mobility made him a standout at multiple camps over the past several months. 2025 OLB [player_tooltip player_id='989328' first='Isaiah' last='Teo'] is a great defender in space that's fast to fill and shows closing speed making plays on the perimeter. The talented secondary is led by a pair of lockdown corners in UNLV-commit [player_tooltip player_id='819547' first='Jaylen' last='Allen'] and [player_tooltip player_id='817707' first='DaMari' last='Washington']. Washington's a physical player in man-coverage that likes to press and disrupt routes on the front-end. He added offers from NAU and Portland St. in May. 2025 DB [player_tooltip player_id='1323306' first='Lono' last='Solomon'] is a versatile defender that can cover deep, fill aggressively downhill in the run game, and cover man over the slot as a nickel CB. He offers underrated upside in his instincts, closing speed, and physicality. 2026 DB [player_tooltip player_id='402180' first='Majik' last='McMillion'] is another talented freshman that can cover different areas of the field.
