We last checked in on top ten linebacker George Hill George Hill 6'2" | 225 lbs | LB Woodland Hills | 2025 State PA at the end of March. The Woodland Hills star continues to stay hot on the trail with his offer number eclipsing the double-digit total mark.

Offers since March: Howard, Stony Brook, Buffalo, Towson, and Arkansas State.

Look for Buffalo to make a huge push to land the Western PA elite backer. Delaware and UB are likely the leaders to land the 2025 prospect, yet with Hill’s offer total continuing to climb, you can make the case that the real leader has yet to reveal themselves. We’ll see if Hill can crack the top 50 after this next update.

He is a good athlete who moves well and makes plays all over the field.  His ability to chase plays all over the field is impressive. You do not see many linebackers run like him with his speed and athleticism. He is a good tackler, especially in the open field. Hill also showed good coverage skills as well. Hill is a good athlete who does a nice job making plays all over the field. He has recently picked up offers from the University of Temple and Buffalo.

His month started off with a visit to Pittsburgh University. He’s also been at Temple, Akron, and Syracuse this month!

When it comes to offers for Hill he’s picked up some good ones! This month started with UConn! Following that up with RMU, Delaware, and UMass.

Ranked as a top ten linebacker in his class before his Group of Five explosion late January-early February. Offers out of Temple, Eastern Michigan, Bowling Green, and Akron alike, Hill’s backer tape did the most talking, however. 100+ TTs, 10+ went for TFLs, Hill’s first play on tape has him sniffing out a screen on good play rec skills, evading two lineman much bigger than he is via block shed, and bringing down a ball carrier in the open field. One single rep showcasing three skills an FBS linebacker must possess. The rest of Hill’s tape backs up this one rep as insurance to any coaches courting him. Plays MIKE backer, cleans up behind the SAM backer easily, sometimes overlapping because of his fantastic lateral agility. Energy spewing during and after the play, a real tone-setter. Athletic enough to serve as a slot defender, can play both the deep middle and the curl-hook zone. Wouldn’t be surprised to learn he can play the flat zone in pass coverage as well. Cut and toned, great build standing at an unverified 225. A lot to like, easily a top five backer in any other class.
