One of the best athletes I seen all weekend at the Prep Redzone 7v7 National Championship was Marje Jackson. Jackson showcased a great deal of plays made with the ball in his hands and with the ball in his hands, he is dangerous for defenses. He has really good size which makes him difficult to cover and contain. He is a smart player, and you can tell that by how he scanned the field, talked and watching his eyes during game play before the ball was snapped. He is and was an outstanding talent.

It was no surprise that Marje was a top performer on Saturday. He passes the eye test with a solid, athletic frame, and what he was able to do largely matched up with what I wanted to see. He moves well, cuts sharp and is able to cover a ton of ground with his long strides. He had a couple of tough catches where guys were draped all over him because they couldn’t guard him any other way. I won’t be surprised at all to see him be a major problem for teams during bracket play on Sunday.
