Quarterbacks:
Highlights
Carson Heinle Carson Heinle 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Kiski Area | 2025 State PA Kiski Area. Heinle is a talented QB and easily could have made the 1st team selection, but he did made the 2nd team QB instead. Heinle has good mechanics and footwork in the pocket. He displayed good touch on the ball. Heinle was consistent in all the drills at the camp and also seemed to pick it up at the competition phase of the camp. Heinle has a chance to have an excellent season at QB this upcoming season.
Highlights
Caleb Wray Caleb Wray 6'3" | 180 lbs | QB Trinity | 2024 State PA Trinity. Wray is another outstanding QB who attended the camp and deserved a 2nd team selection. Wray does a nice job in the pocket setting his feet and throwing the ball. He showed a good competitive spirit in the camp. Especially in the one on one drills. Wray also showed that he has good touch on the ball, especially when he throws the deep ball. Wray has a good chance to play College Football in the future with a strong Senior Year.
Running Backs:
Highlights
Marquez Wimberly Marquez Wimberly 5'9" | 185 lbs | ATH Nazareth | 2026 State PA Nazareth. Wimberly could have moved up and made the 1st team selection as well, but he made the 2nd team instead. Wimberly displayed good ability all day at the camp. He showed an ability to make people miss in space and catch the ball out of the backfield. He has good speed and acceleration, especially in the open field. Wimberly also just finished his 9th-grade year, so I am excited to see his progress.
Highlights
Chris Scruggs North Penn. Scruggs initially struggled at some of the individual position drills but seemed to get better as the camp went on and earned a 2nd team camp selection. Scruggs especially did well at the competition phase of the camp. Particularly during the one-on-one phase of the camp Scruggs did a good job. He did a really good job catching the ball and then having to make linebackers miss him in space. Scruggs showed some good skills and is on my radar to follow next season.
Wide Receivers:
Dominic Diaz-Ellis Dominic Diaz-Ellis 6'0" | 170 lbs | WR Bishop McDevitt | 2025 State PA Columbia. Diaz-Ellis is a fluid athlete that has legit speed and showed an ability to catch and make people miss in space, for those reasons he made the 2nd team camp selection. Diaz-Ellis ran a 40 in 4.35, which is blazing fast. He also showed an ability to get in and out of his breaks when he was running his routes. He then showed he had very good hands and caught the ball well in one on one drills. Diaz-Ellis is an elite wide receiver and he really showed his skills at this camp.
Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA said this about Diaz-Ellis:
Columbia’s Dominic Diaz-Ellis Dominic Diaz-Ellis 6'0" | 170 lbs | WR Bishop McDevitt | 2025 State PA got on my radar shortly after hearing about some of his testing numbers. 4.35 40, tying for the second-best time ever recorded in our camp’s history. Add on a 9’1 broad, 4.47 shuttle, and a 7.20 L Drill. His reps were sought out after posting numbers like this. The sophomore didn’t disappoint. Electric in the open field despite pushing 6’0 in height. His raw speed was utilized well. His straight-line speed was enough to beat yards of cushion when attacking press coverage vertically.
Highlights
Julian McFadden Springside Chestnut Hill Academy. McFadden is a good athlete that showed he has excellent skills to play wide receiver, so that is why he earned the 2nd team wide receiver spot. McFadden runs excellent routes. He does a nice job with his head and shoulders doing subtle moves to create separation. He has good hands and a nice catch radius. McFadden has a ton of skill and should only get better.
Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA said this about McFadden:
My third time this offseason getting a chance to see the SCH pass-catcher perform up close. Again, blown away by his route-running ability. Three wideouts secured top-five honors early, Julian McFadden was not one of them initially, yet his work during 1v1s solidified his placement. Love how McFadden transitions out of his cuts after his release. The young man doesn’t lose a step after cutting laterally, despite good positioning by DBs. McFadden finds a way to separate. McFadden has the complete route tree under his belt.
Highlights
Angel Roberts Angel Roberts 6'1" | 180 lbs | WR Milton Hershey | 2024 State PA Milton Hershey. Roberts is someone who jumped on my radar several months ago, but what I saw at the camp showed me how talented he is as a wide receiver. This is why Roberts earned a 2nd team camp selection. Roberts ran a 4.49 40 which is a legit time. He runs excellent routes and then has very good hands. He catches anything thrown in his direction. Roberts has two offers already and I expect more to come as well.
Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA said this about Roberts:
Roberts seemed much more confident in his game. He had an edge and a chip on his shoulder that he took out on any DB lined up opposite of him. I have to talk about his physique as well. This young man has clearly put on good weight year over end. I, as well as other coaches present, noticed different cuts in his frame. None of us question Roberts’s work ethic.
Offensive Lineman:
Highlights
Carter Ceppetelli Carter Ceppetelli 6'3" | 200 lbs | DL Malvern Prep | 2025 PA Malvern Prep. Ceppetelli had a solid camp overall and that is why he earned a 2nd team camp selection. Ceppetelli has good size standing 6’3″ inches tall. He is a good athlete that moves well. He also showed good technique and was able to do well in all the drills because of it. Ceppetelli should only get better going forward as well.
Highlights
Trevor Popeck Trevor Popeck 6'0" | 275 lbs | OL Chartiers Houston | 2024 State PA Chartiers Houston. Popeck is someone I wrote about prior to the camp and he did not disappoint. He is a good player that does a nice job with his stance, start, and his technique. Popeck earned a 2nd team camp selection. He is also a very strong player and you see this at the point of attack when is blocking. Popeck with a strong Senior year should get some College Football looks.
John Pettit
John Pettit
John Pettit Archbishop Ryan High School. Pettit is someone I had not seen work out before, but he did not disappoint. He earned 2nd team all-camp selection.
Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA said this about Roberts:
Pettit did a nice job with interior offensive line reps. He locked out arms on other prospects consistently. The one on one competition made him one of the top performers at the camp. He was very close to making the 1st team selection.
