Kalis is the headliner of this class, and for good reason. At 6’7” with length, athleticism, and natural strength, he already looks like a college-ready tackle. His offer sheet is loaded with national powers, but it’s the consistency on film that makes him a “can’t-miss” prospect. Kalis combines violent hands with balance in his pass set, and defenders rarely win clean against him. He has the frame to anchor at tackle but could also slide inside if needed, giving him versatility at the next level. He’s the type of player who will be the focal point of an offensive line wherever he plays.

He has great size (6’7″) and athleticism, both traits are rare to see in an offensive lineman. Kalis’s film backs it up with his ability to block in both the run game and passing game. He has a ton of Division 1 offers, and he keeps piling them up with his most recent offers from SMU and Stanford. Whoever lands him as a prospect is getting a great player.

When Kalis takes his steps in gap and zone each one is smooth and purposeful. Kalis plays nasty, strong, and with the intent to put you on your back. The first few minutes of plays on his tape are just punishing blocks of all kinds, drive blocks, reach blocks, double teams, hung blocks, etc. Kalis is rated the number 1 offensive lineman in the 2027 class for a reason and hold the offers he does because he is that good. For a rising junior Kalis plays like a seasoned vet on his PCC offensive line.

It’s tough to gauge how an offensive lineman is doing in real-time, especially with the field-view angle when watching a game on the turf. This being said, I do recall seeing Kalis throw kids around in the open field on the Xxavier Thomas Xxavier Thomas 5'10" | 165 lbs | DB Pittsburgh Central Catholic | 2025 State PA touchdown. I saw Kalis on top of North Allegheny defenders after the whistle blew numerous times.

Plugging in the Kalis regular season tape, you can witness the flattener he is across a variety of run sets. An obvious choice to run off-tackle runs out of gun towards. Much better during the second half of each rep, more of a finisher than a starter right now. Once Kalis refines his initial footwork off the snap and his punch accuracy, the game is going to come even easier for the kid. The power, the size, the athleticism and flexibility, the stuff that’s hard to find is all there. Kalis will be in the running to maintain his number one tackle spot with a 2027 rankings update looming.

The kid looks like he was born to play as an offensive lineman, with his size (6’6 inches tall), strength, and athleticism. He has a great combination of all three. He has excellent technique and does a nice job firing off the ball. He moves well and does an excellent job pulling and blocking different defenders. Kalis deserves the distinction as the top offensive lineman in the 2027 class and is getting recruited by a ton of the top programs in the country.

Since then, the PCC tackle prospect has visited the likes of Georgia and Ohio State, while earning an offer from California University. I’m under the impression that the floodgates have officially opened. No program in the country is off limits, there is no program that could offer Kalis that would leave me surprised, this includes the Alabamas, Georgias, and Ohio States of the world. Kalis just has to keep the foot on the gas, both on and off the field.
