The other area he excels at is being a physical running back who is hard to tackle. Alexander has one more season to go out on top as one of the best running backs.

His ability to read the play and then burst through the hole is excellent. He shows great patience as he waits for the hole to open up. Then he has excellent moves and bursts to make defenders miss. He is also a physical running back who is hard to bring down. Finally, he is also a home run threat who can score anytime he touches the ball. Alexander is a legit running back in the 2027 class.

When Alexander gets a single crease there’s a good chance he’s taking it to the house. Alexander has that menacing stance before he takes his hand off, but the most impressive thing about that is he goes from a 90-degree start and lowers his center of gravity immediately after the handoff. Alexander has good contact balance for his size. Alexander has the best first step burst I’ve seen. He is a real human joystick.

It’s likely that I won’t leave the event with this question answered. Still, watching Jayden Alexander Jayden Alexander 5'8" | 180 lbs | RB/ATH Central Catholic | 2027 State PA up close after ranking him this well will give me insight on what his build really looks like. I’ll pay close attention to how he performs, as well as what his build looks like among other backs present. Regardless, I have a feeling Alexander will be a future producer at PCC.

He also has good speed, and when he gets into the open field, he is off to the races. Alexander is a good player who should get more playing time next year.
