Keysaun Eleazer Keysaun Eleazer 6'5" | 205 lbs | EDGE Southeast Raleigh | 2026 State NC is easily one of the top edge prospects in the entire state — a long, explosive, high-motor pass rusher who can take over a game with pure disruption. His first step is elite, his closing burst is special, and when he bends the edge he forces quarterbacks to speed up their reads or abandon the pocket altogether. Against New Bern, Eleazer’s impact could be felt immediately. The Bears’ passing game has struggled at times this season, and Eleazer has the ability to shut it down almost single-handedly. If he’s consistently winning off the edge, collapsing pockets, and forcing rushed throws, Southeast Raleigh gains a massive advantage. Eleazer is the kind of defender who doesn’t just make plays — he tilts the field. This matchup gives him a chance to show why he’s considered one of the premier defensive talents in North Carolina.

Eleazer has always been highly rated, as the upside is as high as any player in the state. But he was also raw, winning only off of pure athleticism as a younger player. Now, the growth is obvious. Eleazer has four sacks, on pace for fewer than last year, but he’s winning against the run and flashing a high pass-rushing I.Q., both things we wanted to see from him.

Keysaun Eleazer Keysaun Eleazer 6'5" | 205 lbs | EDGE Southeast Raleigh | 2026 State NC from Southeast Raleigh is a physical freak of nature. The Stanford commit stands nearly 6’6” and just over 200 pounds, and the moment you see him, the word “athlete” comes to mind. His quickness off the edge is unmatched at the high school level, consistently beating tackles with speed, length, and burst. The scary part? His game projects to translate seamlessly to the next level. Think James Pearce Jr. when you watch him play—tremendous upside, elite tools, and the potential to be a dominant force for years to come.

Eleazer turned upside into production as a junior breaking out with 13.5 sacks. He’s a long, twitched-up edge rusher who still hasn’t grown into his frame. The fact that he was able to dominate last year without a college strength program to help is a huge green flag. Whichever team ultimately lands him will have a talented, moldable edge rusher with huge upside.

Eleazer continues to add good weight to his frame, allowing him to have more pop behind his elite get-off and bend. He’s continued to develop a pass-rushing arsenal, which has allowed him to creep up our rankings over the last few updates. Eleazer’s ranking is still based largely on upside, but his breakthrough junior season (13.5 sacks) gives him the production necessary to sit closer to the top of the rankings.

When App State, Troy, and Virginia Tech, among a few others offered Eleazer last offseason, it was because of his potential. When Georgia, South Carolina, and Ole Miss, among a host of others offered him this offseason, it was because of his production and his potential. He’s still extremely undersized for an edge rusher, though he’s added about 20 pounds of good weight. Still, 21 tackles for loss and 13.5 sacks show he has juice now. If he maintains his first step and his bend (Which is the best in the state) after putting on another 30 pounds or so, he’ll have a shot to end up as the top prospect in the state in a loaded class.
