might be the most underrated running back in the state’s 2026 class. You see Morgan in person and it’s easy to focus on the size questions. But that’s also a lazy evaluation because when you watch him run, you see a totally different animal. Morgan is incredibly strong and we found out earlier this season that he dedicated himself to weightlifting in the offseason. That checked out as we watched defender after defender, all bigger than Morgan, bounce off him in a one on one situation. Morgan committed to Air Force this offseason and has had a terrific senior season. Morgan and the Yellowjackets are now one win away from making it back to Edmond.

was one of the breakout stars of the 2024 football season. He saw all of his running numbers literally double from his sophomore season. He went from running for over 600+ yards to running for more than 1,200 yards in 2024. He also went from 9 touchdowns on the ground to 18 scores last season. Morgan was a touchdown machine and it was incredibly tough to keep him out of the end zone in 2024. Now, all eyes will be on Morgan as he and Gatson have the potential to be one of the best 1-2 punches in the state this season. This offseason, Morgan officially joined the ranks of Yellowjacket standouts with D1 offers.
(2024 All State Honorable Mention)

was a big reason why. Coming into the 2024 season, we thought Morgan was similar to Moll at Owasso where he was just electric with the ball in his hands and very shifty but he’s much more than that. We got a chance to see Choctaw in person a handful of times and the thing that really stands out when you watch him in person is his lower body strength. He is incredibly strong and that strength makes him much more than just a speedster in the open field. He has no problem lowering the shoulder and bouncing off a defender because he has that lower body strength to stay up. We were very impressed with Morgan and he could have an even bigger senior season.

is in a similar position to guys like Parry and Meyer. You could see signs that he was going to be an absolute dude but was waiting for his opportunity to show that on more of a consistent basis and that time has come this season. Morgan got playing time last season but he was splitting carries and had to share the backfield with several other guys. This season, his carries have doubled from last year and the yards and touchdowns have seen a significant jump because of it. Morgan has taken the increased workload and absolutely dominated this opportunity. The thing that we like about him is his nose for the end zone. It seems like every game this season he’s scored at least two times.
