The Georgia commit was throwing with great accuracy and power in his throws as he usually does with the special skill set he possesses.  He appeared determined and focused on his upcoming senior campaign.  His father was also present and stated to me that the senior QB will likely be leaving immediately after his senior season to enroll early at Georgia and be ready for spring ball activities.

rnHe carries himself with confidence and a command presence that had many of the other athletes in attendance taking witness to his high-level skill package.

Puglisi was right in the middle of the pack on day two with a score of 41.

The Georgia commit completed 9 of 16 passes with a touchdown and zero interceptions.

It will be interesting to see if Puglisi’s commitment to Georgia sticks with Dylan Raiola Dylan Raiola 6'3" | 220 lbs | QB Buford | 2024 State GA also committed.

Samaj Jones and Stone Saunders provide a taste of elite quarterback play in Pennsylvania. Seeing Georgia commit Ryan Puglisi Ryan Puglisi 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Avon Old Farms | 2024 State New E for the first time provided a similar reaction. Otherworldly mechanics and release that make all the next-level throws that much easier to complete. Effortless spin to his throws, incredible hip torque, all combined with refined feet allow Puglisi to keep his eyes focused on where he needs to go with the football. Quarterback play at its finest. Ryan Puglisi Ryan Puglisi 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Avon Old Farms | 2024 State New E is positioned as a QB for his team.  He currently holds multiple D1 offers including power 5. Has verified size and sturdy frame that gives him the ability to extend plays while keeping eyes down field.  This season he lead his team to a 5-3 season record and NEPSAC Kevin Driscoll Bowl win.  He is currently committed to Georgia.  His junior season performance will attract additional college interest in attempts to flip this commitment as he prepares for his senior campaign.  HUDL PROFILE 

Deciding between Loomis Chaffee standout Jerod Smith and AOF Quarterback Ryan Puglisi Ryan Puglisi 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Avon Old Farms | 2024 State New E was admittedly one of the harder decisions I had to make in my early career ranking high school prospects. Deciding between the two is honestly splitting hairs, next week I could change my mind on who the top 2024 prospect should be.

Ranking aside, Ryan Puglisi Ryan Puglisi 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Avon Old Farms | 2024 State New E is the best quarterback prospect I have covered in my career not named Kyle McCord and that’s saying something. The absolute complete package behind center. Puglisi’s sophomore tape displays a little of everything. The first thing that flies off the screen is his attention to detail on all things pre-throw. His footwork throughout his drop back is efficient, with hardly any false steps, hardly any unnecessary hitches. His feet match his eyes, an advanced trait that I don’t see from many. His delivery is sharp and to the point, not too much room to critique this area of his game which is a huge plus. He’s so far along without even throwing a pass, the rest comes smoothly. Ridiculous downfield accuracy, equally as ridiculous is his depth perception. Puglisi can work every area of the field, every route in the tree as well. Puglisi is seen moving safeties to his liking, a seriously advanced trait that I haven’t seen done at a consistent rate since, again, Kyle McCord. Puglisi’s abilities on the ground should not be disregarded because of how proficient he is as a passer. At the very least, Puglisi can beat opponents at the high school level with his legs alone, both throwing on the run with accuracy, throwing off-platform, moving the launch point deliberately or because of pressure or even taking off for scores. There might not be a more complete quarterback in the entire Northeast region of the country.
