from Connecticut. Standing at an impressive 6’4″ and weighing 242 pounds, Jaden is transitioning from Ravenscroft School in North Carolina to Avon Old Farms in Connecticut for the fall 2026 season. His performance during the 2025 season has drawn significant attention, showcasing his remarkable strength, size, and speed as an Edge/LB. Jaden’s highlight film reflects his ability to split double teams and maintain control at the line of scrimmage, demonstrating strong pad level and relentless pursuit of the ball. His first-step explosiveness and speed are particularly notable, making him a disruptive force on defense. To further elevate his game, we recommend ongoing skill training with an Edge/DL specialist and continued development in the weight room. Combine testing will be essential to identify and address any potential weaknesses during the offseason. With verbal offers already from prestigious programs like Yale, North Carolina Central, and Maryland, the buzz around Jaden is unmistakable.
Colson is one of the most athletic defensive linemen you’ll find, with blazing speed and great bend around the edge. It’s been a bit more hit-or-miss on the field, but he has so much upside that he’ll certainly find a home. With a bit more refinement, he’s a future productive pass-rusher who can make an impact at the FCS or even G5 level.
Colson will be surrounded by talent after transferring to Rolesville and he’s one of several viable pass-rushing options on that defensive line. That means fewer double-teams, more rotation, and more opportunities to be put in good one-on-one pass-rushing situations. He can fly, even at 230 pounds, and has a quick-twitch as well. He’s a valuable run defender who can probably improve as a pass-rusher in 2025.
Jaden received an offer from Charlotte this spring. With his size profile, Jaden is definitely one of those EDGE prospects that colleges are looking for in major supply these days. He lists a 4.5 40 yard dash time and a 3.4 unweighted GPA on his profile, things that will make college coaches interested in learning more beyond his physical traits. Looking at his film, Jaden has a nice burst off of the football and appears to have a long wingspan with his arms. As he gets stronger, he will be able to be a more consistent player against the run, but I can definitely see a high ceiling for him as a player.
