He is ranked as the #1 running back in the class of 2026 in New England. Prep Redzone New England Northeast Regional Director Scout; Vic Castilo previewed his film prior to the rankings and was happy to bring some insight to this kid’s tape, presumably the first in the nation to do so.rn“Craig” has five single-game tapes to his name, each showcasing what he provides Avon Old Farms out of the backfield. AOF wants to spread a defense out, AOF utilized Craig as the off-set back in shotgun sets. AOF makes sure they get Craig in space, dumping passes off to him in the flat or giving him toss opportunities where he can show off his acceleration. If Craig is one on one inside the red zone, you can trust he’s going to beat his man for a score. Awesome initial burst upfield, his acceleration ability forces defenders to play off his first gear, once Craig has kids where he wants them, he can chop his feet, break on a dime and make the first man miss. He’s got homerun-hitting speed to finish runs. Lateral cuts and agility are a plus. He is projected as a solid Division 1 FBS recruit and currently holds multiple power 5 offers. He earned early power 5 offers while he was still in the 8th grade.

Although his profile suggests he’s a LB, this kid is going to see a ton of targets at TE, a position he’s likely to carve out a real role this Fall. Easy open-field strider. Great build that is going to absorb physicality with ease, especially from any DBs attempting to thwart him at the LOS. 6’4.5, 230 pounds with exemplary grades. I’m quickly becoming a big fan of the young man.

should get a jump on some of the tape he posted to his Hudl just yesterday. You’ll get a sense as to why he’s one of the most coveted RB/DBs in the New England area. Penn State is the latest Power Five program to add to his long list of suitors, a list that includes Georgia, Ole Miss, Va Tech, and many more. I’m happy to bring some insight to this kid’s tape, presumably the first in the nation to do so. Craig has five single-game tapes to his name, each showcasing what he provides Avon Old Farms out of the backfield. It’s tough to give a full evaluation on 5 freshman cut-ups, yet you can see that Craig eats in the minimal snaps he gets per game. We can’t even showcase how great of a DB he is because of the lack of tape at the moment. No rush, Power Fives already know it. This young man will place high amongst our new PRZNE freshman rankings.
