Evaluation: A home run threat on offense that also splits time on defense. As a receiver, he gets a solid release off the line as he gains separation. McIntyre is a seasoned route runner capable of running the entire tree. He has the intelligence to seek out soft spots in zone coverage and adjust his catch radius to off-target passes. When the ball is in his hands, he can turn short gains into explosive plays thanks to his ability to create yards after the catch. In order for him to be a complete receiver, he needs to work on his blocking downfield. On defense, his closing and ball skills are his key strengths. McIntyre is known as a zone-coverage corner, as he struggles to be physical in tight man coverage. The primary area of concern for a defender is that he struggles to step up and make tackles in open space, as he whiffs on wrap-ups. Lastly, he needs to take sharper angles when making tackles. McIntyre is best suited as a Z and Slot Receiver at the collegiate level, which is the avenue to maximize his style of play.

Christian is another weapon on both sides of the ball for Xaverian. He is an explosive WR that can play from both the slot and outside. At WR he tracks the ball very well and shows strong hands when catching the football. At CB, Christian plays man coverage with great success. He gets his hands on the WR at the line of scrimmage to reroute the opposition. He is a ballhawk and will come down with the football. Christian has received 2 Division 1 offers, Colgate and Sacred Heart

Performance Report: Christian McIntyre Christian McIntyre 6'1" | 190 lbs | DB Avon Old Farms | 2027 State New E (Class of 2026)
Camp: 2025 Best of New England Camp
Date: June 13, 2025
Position: DB | Height: 6’1” | Weight: 185
Christian showcased impressive skills during the camp, evidenced by his 4.54 laser-timed 40-yard sprint as part of the GOLD wristband group. Although I did not observe his live performance, his 2024 highlight film, which I evaluated earlier in the year, reveals his strong boundary play, quick reactions, and adeptness in both man-to-man press and zone coverage. He exhibits excellent instincts, a smooth back pedal, and agile hip transitions. A physical player, Christian has the potential to excel as a solid cover guy at the college level! Keep an eye on this rising star from Xaverian Brothers HS!
