Scout Evaluation Report: Mason Parker Leak
Ranking Update: #11 Overall, #5 Defensive Lineman in the New England Region
Mason Parker Leak, a 6’4″, 210-pound defensive lineman from Avon Old Farms, has garnered significant attention as he transitions into his senior year. AS of March 1, 2025, our evaluations have reasserted his position as the #11 overall prospect in the New England region, maintaining strong recognition as the #5 defensive lineman.
Mason’s impressive frame and athleticism set him apart. Over the past season, he demonstrated a remarkable ability to disrupt opposing offenses from the defensive end position, consistently applying pressure on quarterbacks and penetrating into the backfield. His contributions were pivotal in run defense, showcasing not only strength but also an impressive awareness of the game. His relentless motor allows him to impact every play, exemplifying his commitment to playing from snap to whistle.
Offensively, Mason has experience as an outside wide receiver, where he exhibits potential for tight end recruitment thanks to his size and agility. However, it’s on defense where he truly shines, honing his skills as an edge defender and preparing for higher competition levels.
Mason’s recent verbal commitment to Boston College, announced on October 3, 2024, following an earlier offer, speaks to his upward trajectory. With additional interests from Wake Forest, Syracuse, and UMass, the attention surrounding him is well-deserved.
As he prepares to transfer to Avon Old Farms for his senior season, a strong offseason in strength training will be crucial for his development. I fully anticipate Mason will emerge as a formidable prospect, and I am excited to continue tracking his evolution in the lead-up to college football. His primary position will change to edge defender during the next ranking list refresher.
Conclusion: Mason Parker Leak is a dynamic player whose best football is still ahead of him, and his ranking reflects both his current abilities and future potential.

Film Highlight Review: Mason has an above average frame and athleticism for his size. At DE, he created many QB pressures and penetrated the backfield. He was a consistent factor in the run game. He shows a good motor and is a guy who plays snap to whistle. On offense, Mason plays outside WR. He projects more as a TE due to his measurables. Shows off his athleticism with his down the field catching ability. With a strong off-season in the weight room, I think Mason will continue to improve his game. Mason will be an interesting prospect to watch his development.
Projection: His physical measurables (height and weight) align him as a Division 1- Division 2 prospect.
