Has very high level reactionary quickness. Has a excellent burst from his back pedal. Goes up to get the ball at the highest point. High athletic skill set. His speed pops on film. Has a lean frame and can bend.  Loose hips are visible. High level coverage ability. He is experienced in press man coverages.

Hard to have such a highly ranked prospect place as a stock riser, considering there isn’t much room for Adams to grow on our ranks. With Adams, the top defensive back spot is always something achievable. Watching his tape,  I can’t help but feel he’s a step above the rest in his class. His play recognition/diagnosis is elite. Not only is he reading correctly, he’s reading in a timely fashion. Elite pursuit to the football from his safety spot. Elite athleticism with the ball in his hands, see him after interceptions or as a return man, elite athleticsm without the ball, showing real range to go hash to sideline. At this point, nothing the young man does surprises me.

Watching his tape, I can’t help but trust him in man coverage, based solely on his technique and physicality alone.
