“Williams is a talented and well-rounded DB who quickly reacts and flies in to create stops nearly every snap. Williams really impresses me in coverage. He has great timing and has a knack for disrupting plays. He’s great at tracking the ball in the air and consistently uses his length to break up passes downfield.
Williams is just as impressive as a tackler. He’s quick, can make sideline-to-sideline stops, and does a great job getting low and wrapping up as well as placing big hits on the ball carrier. No matter what opposing offenses are doing, you can count on Williams to be near the ball. He’s a really intelligent defender who deserves more attention moving forward.”
Williams is an impressive defender who can do so many things well in Hoover’s secondary. He’s set up for a huge season this upcoming fall. I think we’re all going to need to watch for Hoover’s defense here in 2026.
