Expert Analysis
Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
Another Atlanta-area wideout with the potential to have a giant senior season, Reese is a speedy pass-catcher who is fresh off a strong 2025 season for Kipp Atlanta where he showed he can stretch the field and out-run defensive backs when given space to run. He shows strong hands and the ability to make a tough catch in traffic as well. He plays hard and will be a major weapon for the Douglas County offense next fall. The Tigers are loaded already, and Reese will bring even more talent and speed to the wide receiver room. His stock is rising, and now he’s been added to the next 2027 Prep Redzone rankings.

It was a matter of time before Reese fully broke onto the radar. After a productive junior season, and impressive T/F numbers throughout HS, Reese has broken the P4 seal and will debut in our next rankings draft. While raw, his best ball is ahead of him, and you can’t teach speed. He isn’t just fast either, he is fast on a 6’1 180 frame, so he can work inside-out and touch each level of the field. Have always been a big fan of this kid and his upside.

With Resse’s speed, he can strike out from anywhere on the field. Plainly said, he can fly. His track speed translates to the field, running past DBs on verticals to make acrobatic catches mid-air, catching digs or crossing routes over the middle without breaking stride on his way to the endzone, or beating defenders to the perimeter off of jet sweeps. Defenses have to account for him by keeping a safety shaded to his side.

One of the fastest prospects across the state, Reese is a track star who made plays on both sides of the ball last year for KIPP Atlanta. Now, the electric wideout will suit up for Douglas County as a senior in 2026. He’s a good athlete with above-average ball skills and versatility, but it’s his elite breakaway speed that college coaches love. Reese, who is hoping to light up the stat sheet and be a consistent weapon for the Tigers this fall, saw a new offer come his way from Penn State. The way he runs, and with his potential, look for a lot more offers to head his way this spring and summer. He’ll be an easy addition to the 2028 Prep Redzone rankings next month.
