About Ozzy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a tough, confident quarterback with a strong arm and great poise under pressure. I make smart reads, deliver accurate throws, and keep the offense moving even when the pocket collapses. I lead the team and make plays whether it’s a planned play or I have to create something on the fly.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a spiritual, family-first student athlete who always tries to be a good son and get good grades. I’m focused and work hard on and off the field, but I’m also real and fun with my friends.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m currently in my first year playing offseason 7-on-7 with Wisco Elite, which I’m excited about because it helps me work on my QB skills and stay competitive while regular football is off. I also finished my freshman first quarter with 7 A’s and 1 B, showing I can balance school and football.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve really worked on being a leader and teammate this year. I try to lead by example in practice and games, and I think my teammates would say they can count on me. I’ve also volunteered in my community at different festivals this year, which has helped me grow and give back while building teamwork and responsibility. Balancing school, sports, and service has made me more focused and disciplined.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The biggest challenge I’ve faced so far is stepping up from youth sports to high school. The competition is faster and more physical, and I’ve had to work harder and push myself more than ever to keep improving and stay ready. It’s been a real learning curve, but it’s also helped me get tougher, smarter, and more focused on my goals.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college opportunity with a real team atmosphere where everyone pushes each other to improve. A program with coaches and teammates who challenge me and hold each other accountable. I want to be part of a group that values hard work, toughness, and winning together, and where I can continue developing into the best player and person I can be.
