was their best player last season in all three phases of the game. Smith would end up leading the team in receiving and was such a dynamic player for the Yellowjackets on offense in general. He would also bring that dynamic play to special teams as a returner and became one of the state’s best in that category as well. Smith also has the ability to play defense in the secondary if he’s needed. This season, we’re very curious to see how creative Choctaw gets to find different ways to get him the ball. Because after looking at his production from last season, good things usually happen when he gets the ball.

is a 2025 prospect that we’ve seen in person probably more than any other media outlet in Oklahoma. We’ve seen three offseasons of him playing on the 7v7 circuit, games in the fall with Choctaw and in the spring at team camps. And every time we’ve seen him, he’s routinely one of the best players on the field and it doesn’t matter which side of the ball you’re talking about. Smith is a player that can play at the next level and the only question is what position. For now, we have Smith listed as an athlete but we could see him shifting to the offensive side of the ball. Last season was a great example of the impact he can have on offense.

has been a 2025 prospect that we’ve written about countless times following these 7v7 tournaments. Smith has been a star for years now and it seems like every time we see him in person, whether it’s in 7v7 tourneys, team camps or games in the fall, Smith is routinely one of the best players on the field. And whether it’s offense or defense, Smith always has an impact. This weekend, Smith was outstanding on the offensive side of the ball. He became one of Ficklin’s top targets and was just as dangerous down the field or turning a small play into a big play. Smith is a prospect that needs more attention.

has been on our radar for about two years now. Smith first got our attention by making plays on both sides of the ball in offseason 7v7 tournaments. Then we took a look at him with the pads on with Choctaw and it’s hard not to be impressed with how far he’s come as a prospect and as a football player. On offense, Smith was arguably Choctaw’s most dynamic player. He led the team in receiving and also made plays on defense and in special teams as a returner. We don’t know where Smith is going to end up at the next level in terms of his position but we know that he’s a next level talent. He rises to the occasion every time.

became one of the more electric playmakers in the class. Smith saw plenty of playing time last season but this year, he’s been one of the leading receivers in the state, regardless of class. Smith has been the top option in the passing game at wide receiver and he’s also a threat as a runner and in the return game on special teams. Smith has been a 2025 prospect that we’ve had an eye on for well over a year now and he’s enjoyed a breakout season.
