Pullom had the moment of the day. He went up against one of the more impressive tackles on the day who had a major size advantage. He had a move where he went to the outside, switched in, then spinned out again completely juking the right tackle for the most impressive one on one win of the day.

was only able to play in three games as a junior but he was very impressive when on the field. As a pass rusher, Pullom is very explosive out of his stance and uses his speed to his advantage whether he is coming off the edge or shooting the inside gap. He has also shown the ability to use quick pass rush moves to defeat blocks with ease. Kobe finished this past season with one sack and 25+ quarterback pressures. Pullom also recorded 29 tackles and four tackles for loss as a junior. Kobe recently picked up his first offer from Troy and I wouldn’t be surprised to see more come his way soon.

is a player who recently jumped onto my radar and he continued to impress in Owensboro’s semifinal win over Woodford County. Pullom lined up at outside linebacker where he was very disruptive against the run. He showed the speed to blow by opposing offensive linemen and strength to shed blocks with ease on his way to the ball carrier. Pullom proved to be a very reliable tackler in the open field, finishing the game with a team-leading 14 tackles along with one tackle for loss. Kobe should be a player for college coaches to have on their radar going into his senior year. Pullom will look to help Owensboro win the 5A State Championship Game against a talented Pulaski County team this week.

. Is Pullom next? You probably haven’t yet heard of the 6-foot-2, 190-pound defensive end flashes twitch and explosiveness. He is a tremendous pass rusher with huge upside.

Pullom is a guy we hit last year and who had a good freshman year. We were excited about that because it showed potential, but he’s already exceeding those expectations as a sophomore and is on pace to blow out his freshman numbers. He’s put weight on, he’s worked on moves in the interior to get off blocks, and he’s simply stronger. So far through 4 games he’s put up 17 tackles, 2 sacks, 4 TFLs, and forced a fumble from the edge of the defensive line.

The 6’2″ stud from Castle who we came across not that long ago has certainly earned his reputation early. He’s a game wrecker and a guy who helps motivate others around him. He’s relentless when rushing the passer and is able to make finesse moves to get by the blocker. He can wrap up in open space and has really strong hands that allow him to strip the ball out from time to time. He had a fantastic freshman year and should only be on the rise from here.
