High football IQ, athletic explosive plays, excellent vision, which creates the versatility needed to excel at playing running back and free safety. Have a quick second gear allowing me to make plays all over the field.

Very good safety prospect against the run and the pass. Shows good adjustment to the ball when digging INTs out of the dirt. Great instincts, quick read-and-reaction time. Flows to the ball and flashes great closing speed. Huge upside for his age.

Walden saw time on both sides of the ball as a freshman and held his own in each role. At running back, he’s got good vision and can feel out lanes before they fully develop. He’s shifty in space and knows how to make the first guy miss without losing momentum. On defense, he’s a reliable DB who doesn’t shy away from contact and can come downhill to make a clean tackle. He’s instinctive, moves well, and already looks comfortable in live reps.
