Cameron Combs Cameron Combs 6'2" | 190 lbs | ATH Corbin | 2023 State KY , 6’1, 180, Corbin, 2023
A clutch pocket-passer that’s willing to sit in there and take a shot in order to deliver a strike to his wideout. Cameron shows quiet feet in the pocket and outstanding ball placement on all three levels. He’s terrific throwing on the move and can extend if need be.
Jacob Jones, 6’1, 180, West Jessamine, 2023
Jones shows a compact motion on tape and the ability to throw out of multiple arm slots. He excels in sprint out concepts and will deliver the football on a rope. He loves the go the ball, dropping it like a teardrop right into his target’s hands. Jones is creative under subtle pressure and will calmly slide back and forth around the pocket to buy more time.
Logan Lundy Logan Lundy 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Raceland | 2023 KY , 6’3, 200, Raceland, 2023
On tape, Lundy has a good mixture of pure arm talent and athleticism. If he breaks contain, watch out because this young man is fantastic throwing outside the pocket. He does a good job driving his hips through to get maximum velocity behind his ball. This is a physical runner between the tackles that uses natural leg strength to power through tackle attempts.
Cole Carpenter, 6’4, 205, Madison Southern, 2024
Carpenter has more of a sidearm type release, but it doesn’t show any issue in his operation time. He’s fantastic off play-action and will make undisciplined linebackers pay for bitting on the run. On tape, he showed that he can drive the football in the intermediate to vertical range, and he consistently put the ball right on his target’s numbers.
Chase Crone Chase Crone 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Simon Kenton | 2023 State KY , 6’2, 190, Simon Kenton, 2023
I loved Crone’s film and think he could be one of the state’s bigger sleepers right now. His playmaking ability when the pocket collapses is filthy. There were multiple occasions he was making throws downfield with defenders draped around him. He’s a fantastic timing thrower that is equipped with some serious wheels as a runner. Crone calmly works through his progression and is willing to check it down to his fourth or even fifth option.
Pryor Lamb Pryor Lamb 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB McCracken Co | 2023 State KY , 6’, 205, McCracken County, 2023
I believe Lamb is an ideal fit in a wide-open spread system. He does a good job identifying targets pre-snap and using his eyes to fool opposing safeties. He displayed excellent touch when throwing off-platform and a physical running style with the ball in his hands. This kid is tough to bring down in the pocket and has some shake to keep plays alive.
Sage Dawson, 5’11, 160, Danville, 2023
A dynamic dual-threat that can eat up yards on called quarterback runs. Dawson has the speed to outrun angles and overall solid vision to cut back against the grain. He will look safeties off in a four verts concept and deliver the ball opposite on a line. Don’t let this kid break contain because he’s slippery in the open field and will make you pay.
Other Names to Watch
Cutter Boley, 6’6, 195, La Rue County, 2024
Russ Osborne, 6′, 160, Shelby Valley, 2024
