He continued to impress this past week in a huge win over a very talented Woodford County team. Crone finished the game completing 10/17 passes for 142 yards and a touchdown. He showed the ability to roll out of the pocket and make throws on the run. Crone also showed impressive accuracy in the short passing game with the ability to put a ton of zip on his passes in tight windows. While he was impressive throwing the ball, he was even better on the ground, running the ball 32 times for 271 yards and five touchdowns. He ran the read option to perfection, showing the ability to keep the ball and use his speed to run away from the defense. Chase currently holds offers from Long Island, Thomas More, Morehead State, Ohio Dominican, Walsh, Centre, and Dayton, and I believe he has the potential to develop into a very good college quarterback.
