Zach has been the lead back and he possesses good size and physicality. His contact balance is good and he will lower his pads and fall forward. I personally feel he would be best as an edge rusher but with the cards that are dealt, he’ll be the lead back and he brings good power.
Ofisa is a good athlete and a two-way player with good size. He’s the returning leading rusher. Ofisa is a physical runner with good vision and contact balance. He does a good job at getting to the second level and finishing off his run. He’s part of the pass game and showcases soft hands. This offseason, I’ve seen him work as an edge rusher, and he’s looked crisp. He’s quick off the line, has good bend at the hip, can get under the pads of the lineman, and has the strength to disengage and use his closing speed to pursue the quarterback. He should continue to be a two-way player for them as he’s too good on both sides of the ball to be kept off the field.
Ofisa was explosive with his first step and showed great bend at the hip to get around the edge, and had violent hands to thwart his lineman. He showed good lateral quickness and blended his speed with power nicely to get his lineman off-balanced. Ofisa had an excellent showing on the evening.
Ofisa shows burst to get up field, use of hands to make quick contact and fluid hips to get around and under the block. Ofisa showed that he has the size and athleticism to compete with offensive line prospects with size and movement.
Ofisa has exceptional size and can tack on additional weight without limiting his abilities. He is a physical, tough, down-hill runner who showcases great power and contact balance. He is a between-the-tackles runner with the juice to make defenders miss but is a bull in a China shop with the ball in his hands. Ofisa is a force to bring down and he fights for every yard and will make defenders earn their tackles statistics. As powerful as he is, he displays soft hands in the receiving game and adds an extra element to an offense. With this physicality and lateral agility, he would make an exceptional EDGE rusher if he focused on that as his sole position. Ofisa is an exciting prospect who should be regionally recruited.
Ofisa is an athletic prospect that has the foot quickness, agility and balance to play the position.Shows vision, instincts, balance, acceleration and follows blocks on inside runs. Speed to bend the corner and accelerate on outside runs. Hands and route running ability to be involved in the passing game. Body control to adjust to the ball to make a play. An elusive type runner after the catch.Ofisa has the size and athleticism to be a elusive type ball carrier or possibly play linebacker at the next level.
