Carl Albert defensive lineman Lebron Royal Lebron Royal DL/LB Carl Albert | 2026 State OK was one of the breakout stars from the 2024 football season. And it didn’t take long for Royal to let everyone know that he was the real deal. Early on in the season, Royal would consistently dominate opponents along the line of scrimmage. Whether we watched him on film or in person, he consistently stood out as one of the best defenders on a defense that was stacked. Royal would finish the season with over 100 tackles and ten sacks. He earned All State 2nd Team honors and will come into the 2025 season as one of the best defensive linemen in the state. We’re looking forward to seeing the encore.

Carl Albert defensive lineman Lebron Royal Lebron Royal DL/LB Carl Albert | 2026 State OK was one of the breakout stars of the 2024 football season and Carl Albert wasn’t exactly a team that was lacking talent and needed a breakout performance. Royal was a key part of arguably the most dominant defense in school history and one of the best defensive units in the state last fall. For us, it started early on in the year, when we watched them in person in September. On a team full of stars, Royal was arguably the best player on the field. He absolutely owned the line of scrimmage and was consistently getting into the backfield. And when he got there, he was either making a play or he was causing enough disruption to completely shut down what the opponent was trying to accomplish.
