Quick in the hips with fast twitch movement he’s able to lock on and sustain coverage to all areas of the field against a wide route tree. Demonstrates he can be effective playing both press and off coverage. In press, he plays with quick and active hands to disrupt receiver releases and routes. Shows good footwork and technical ability throughout the play.

This baller can play anything, anywhere, at a high level. His transition into high school will only come in the weight room. Darrien makes plays on offense, defense, and special teams. I would not put a guard rail around him. Set this kid up for success and he will show and prove. Nice explosion to the ball at DB, and through you if you catch it. Good jukes on offensive and his bunnies are crazy.
