10 Prospects poised for a breakout season in District 3

<p class="text-gray-700">Brandon Way has started for 2 years at Lancaster Catholic as a cornerback. Last year he was the backup running back, so he got some spot duty and made some big plays for the Crusaders. This year with talented running back Elijah Cunningham having graduated he is now the man at running back for Lancaster Catholic. Way can score anytime he touches the ball. He has elite speed and elusiveness. He is a big play machine that you can throw the ball to, hand off the ball, or put him back on kickoff and punt returns. He is that good of a player. He is also a lockdown cornerback with good coverage skills. Quarterbacks when they get a 2nd year to start the game slows down for them. I expect the same for Nace. He showed great poise last year, but I think he has another gear and I expect him to improve this year going into his Junior Year. I expect he get more time at running back this year, but he has much potential as a linebacker. He is such a good athlete that the offenses will have to deal with him flying off the edge or dropping in a zone. I am excited to see his progress on both sides of the ball.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='915232' first='Lex' last='Haberbosch'] is a talented wide receiver for Manheim Township. He was overshadowed last year by Landon Kennel a talented wide receiver who has moved on to Monmouth. This year is Haberbosch's time to shine. This season, he can be the top weapon for the next Manheim Township quarterback. He runs excellent routes and does a great job on contested catches. Last year quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='154352' first='Stone' last='Saunders'] top target was Rico Scott (now off to Alabama) as the passing game was the focus of the McDevitt offense. This year it wouldn't surprise me if they focused more on the run game and Jones-Davis is the leading returning ball carrier. Jones-Davis is slick with the ball in his hands as he can make defenders miss. He has the skills to be a good slot receiver and a cornerback. On offense, he has good speed and does a good job in space making defenders miss. I can see Quick being used in different ways in the run game and the passing game. He could also see the field as a cornerback. Last year when I saw him play I was impressed by how talented he was for an offensive and defensive lineman. Now going into his Junior year I expect he will make a big jump for Ephrata. He has all the tools to be a good lineman on both sides of the ball. I am excited to see the progress. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1180767' first='Braylon' last='Reinert'] flashed some good skills last year at tight end and defensive end and I expect him to make a big jump this year. He has a great combination of size, speed, and strength. At tight end, he is a good blocker and catches the ball well. At the defensive end, he is a terror on the edge for offensive linemen. Reinert is a good player on both sides of the ball. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='819713' first='Christian' last='Joy'] is a heck of a running back but has been overshadowed but [player_tooltip player_id='386280' first='Messiah' last='Mickens'] the Penn State commit. Now Mickens is off to Harrisburg as a transfer and it should be Joy's opportunity to be the top running back. Joy has legit speed and elusiveness to make defenders miss. He also catches the ball well out of the backfield. Joy has a ton of talent and I cannot wait to see him this year at running back for Trinity. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='647404' first='Chase' last='Eisenhower'] is an outstanding prospect who played as a fullback and linebacker for Wyomissing last year. He has a chance to go to another level this year and play on both sides of the ball at a high level. Eisenhower has a surprising amount of speed to run by defenders. He also has a physical running style to go along with his speed. As a linebacker, he does a good job of attacking downhill and making a ton of plays.
