Expert Analysis

After a strong Junior season, Brandon Way gained attention from several colleges. Way is a talented football runner and is explosive when he runs with the ball. He has elite speed, and when he gets into the open field, he is off to the races. After weighing his options, he has decided to commit to Bryant University. He is the 1st commit in their 2026 class. This is a great opportunity for Way and Bryant.
Extremely blessed to announce my commitment to Bryant University!!! Thank you God, my family and all my coaches and trainers that helped me get to this point. Let’s Work!! #ExpectToWin @LancCatholicFB @717_sports @EdOBrienCFB @Spotlight39_Pod @footballcoach79 @CoachLinney pic.twitter.com/BBd7o8ePdf

Brandon Way is listed as an athlete in our rankings, but to me, he is a running back 1st. The kid had a spectacular season for Lancaster Catholic. He also picked up his 1st offer from Syracuse. His ability to score whenever he touches the ball makes Way’s film special. He has good speed, and he can score anytime he gets into the open field. The other part of his game that I like is his physical running style. He rarely goes down after the 1st hit. Way also shows good patience and does an excellent job of reading the hole and then exploding through it. Way is a legit player in the 2026 class.
After a great conversation with @CoachDRedd I’m extremely blessed to have received my first division 1 offer from Syracuse University! #agtg #goorange @FranBrownCuse @CoachNixon_Cuse @EdOBrienCFB @LancCatholicFB @717_sports pic.twitter.com/EyIkYP1vhu

Brandon Way continues to show how dynamic he is as a Crusader player. What I liked about this game from Way is he didn’t have any long carries, but was the bell cow all night for Lancaster Catholic. He constantly was the driving force behind the Crusader’s offense. He showed a physical running style and was hard to bring down all night. He also played wildcat quarterback and made several tough runs for big plays. Way also played the entire game as a cornerback and made several big tackles. At running back he finished with 105 yards on 27 carries. He earned every yard against a tough Berks Catholic defense. Way is continuing to show he belongs as one of the best players in the Lancaster-Lebanon League and the State.

Brandon Way checks all the boxes as an elite player. He has a great combination of size, strength, and athleticism. He plays on both sides of the ball as a running back and as a defensive back. At running back he is a home run hitter every time he touches the ball. At defensive back, he is a lockdown defender. It should be a matter of time until he gets an offer to play College Football.
