Criss showed flashes of explosive playmaking in his standout season for Liberty in the fall. Averaged 17 YPC for a total of 340 yards and 6 TDs on 19 catches as a senior. Two-sport athlete that shows his track background and legit game-speed with the ball in his hands after the catch. Flashes soft hands and good field awareness as a pass catcher and possesses the straight-line speed to get a step on DBs as a vertical threat. Giovanni Criss Giovanni Criss 6'0" | 170 lbs | WR Liberty | 2025 State NV has the type of speed that can really take the top off of a defense for Liberty. Showing his athleticism both on the football field and on the track, it’s more than just the speed; his agility and vertical are top-tier as well. Criss moves incredibly smoothly out there and has some nicely refined footwork. Getting separation isn’t going to be an issue in 2024 as he looks to increase his production. Getting plenty of work through the offseason, there’s no doubt that Criss will turn some heads with his blazing speed this season.

Criss lands on the 2025 WatchList after putting together strong showings at offseason camps and 7v7s. He’s flashed his athletic playmaking skillset with promising development in his footwork, quickness, and separation as a route-runner. He’s a track athlete that can make plays down the field with his 4.4 speed and ability to track the deep ball. Criss had a quiet junior season but looks to be primed for a breakout season that could vault him up the WR rankings with the growth and development he’s shown as of late.
