Ty Salazar is one of the best two-way players in the State. He is equally as good as a defensive back and as a wide receiver. At defensive back, he has great coverage skills, and he locks down wide receivers. Then, on offense at wide receiver, he is a playmaker. He is so good at catching the ball and making defenders miss in space. Then, when there are 50/50 balls, Salazar does a great job of coming down with the ball. Salazar had a great Senior year at State College.

On Friday night against Cedar Cliff he was the top target of Eddie Corkery Eddie Corkery 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB State College | 2025 State PA . Salazar scored on 62 yards, 38 yards, and 15 yards touchdown receptions. He also forced a fumble and recovered it. Salazar continues to make plays on both sides of the ball for State College.
