Sometimes I shy away from writing about student-athletes who I’ve featured multiple times before. Other times, they do something that impresses you and deserves attention. Hine is committed to Army as an offensive lineman. He’s a good one, as he showed again while lining up at left tackle during his team’s first-round playoff game at Liberty on Halloween night. I’d seen him do that in person before. His skills and technique were improved, which showed he’s working towards his college career. What impressed me the most about Hine, however, was his willingness and ability to also play defensive tackle. That’s a difficult task at the 5A level, and Hine was effective doing it. His motor and desire fuel the success. I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do on the next level.
